This is AMAZING
I love this look, the dark lipstick is great with the hair!
Thom Browne is a designer that I haven’t heard as much about but I am glad that I stumbled across this line. It has a strong look and a great style incorporating interesting hair and makeup looks and presenting me with a full fashion idea for every outfit in place of just one article of clothing being center.
This line is definitely soft and pretty but still edgy. I love that both can be present in the line without conflicting too much. Rebecca Minkoff always gets it right though, so what do I expect?
Rebecca Minkoff mixed soft and feminine with a bit of edge this season. Think blush pink mixed with a little leather, even a bit of metallic and throw on a beanie and some great booties to face the cold winter weather. Minkoff’s models strutted down the runway in oversize menswear-inspired clothing and dark vampy lips (so happy that trend is not going anywhere!).
This collection was not lacking the very popular fur trend this season. Minkoff wrapped fur scarves around models necks while the rest of the outfits were quite simple – light and airy but with clean pinstripes. The whole collection encompassed the true New York fashion girl and I can’t wait to get my hands on this collection – especially that cream, leather trimmed skirt.
Michelle Smith has done it again, using her great eye for fabrics and attention to detail to produce yet another amazing RTW line that will add to the cult like interest that this brand gets from around the world. I love the tutu-like skirts with jackets and love that this line is sexy, feminine, girly, and sporty all at the same time. Smith really knows how to mix different styles without getting to schizophrenic with the message that the line is communicating.
